Hi, my name is Alix. I write about tools, shifts in thinking, and resources that helped me get out of survival mode into a more resourceful, abundant, peaceful life experience.
Over and over again, the evidence is clear. We do better, feel less angst and become more resourceful (and joyful) when we allow more of ourselves to shine through— even while navigating our everyday lives, showing up for our commitments, and meeting the challenges of today.
It’s not a question of willing it all away with positive thoughts and affirmations. It’s about acknowledging What Is while identifying our unique gifts that will help in healing the world as we find the courage to share them.

I’ve spent the last twelve years pursuing ways to cultivate my spiritual, creative side while rebuilding a career and caring for my family.
As counter-intuitive as it has been, the more I “fill my cup first,” the more I contribute to the other areas of my life, and the easier it is to find that flow state. Many people are expressing these same ideas, and I am grateful. The more we allow ourselves to shine, the more we can cultivate peace, love, and a sense of the Divine. I want more of that.
